Firstly… welcome! Thank you for choosing 4 Life Podiatry. Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before your first appointment to complete any relevant paperwork – it may surprise you, but we run on time for greater than 95% of our appointments. Please bring any referrals, relevant test results such as x-rays, MRI’s, CT scans and Ultrasounds. If you are taking multiple medications, or have a complex medical history it may be helpful to bring a list with you.

Please wear clothing that will allow the Podiatrist to expose the area that needs to be assessed and treated. For a full biomechanical assessment, this is often the whole leg, not just the feet. It is also helpful to bring a selection of the typical shoes/footwear that you regularly wear.

Your feet are working every day, often taking over 10,000 steps whilst supporting your body. This hard work is often done in tight, warm and sweaty shoes increasing the likelihood of foot problems. The number of sessions required depends on the nature of your problems. Some problems are fully resolved within a course of treatment. Other conditions, such as diabetic foot, require ongoing care every 4-weeks or so to maintain the condition of the foot. Speak with your podiatrist at your initial consultation and they will be able to provide more information regarding the proposed course of treatment.
